Caldara 33 - Reflection

The challenges for this project were tuning up to myself and trying to be musical. I tried to add some phrasing and dynamics, and at the end I had a small decrescendo but it did not sound in tune. I am very familiar with Garage band, so I mixed the 3 parts a bit so simulate what it would sound like if three people sang the part in real life. Next time I want to be able to sing with more confidence. I felt as though I was in tune and singing in time for the most part, just with some syllables like "Mi" being out of tune. I also like how I can hear all three parts when they are all singing at the same time, and no voice sounded like it was weaker than the other.

Echo cannon - Reflection

Something challenging about this is that I had a lot of trouble staying in tune. Listening for the other parts in the echo was difficult as well as singing the cannon correctly each time. I sang out of tune the longer the cannon went on. Despite all of that I actually enjoyed singing and creating music on garage band with myself. The chord progression I chose could've been a bit more clear.

Cannon Composition Reflection

I think that I tried my best to compose a cannon that made sense. I had a lot of difficulty lining up the chords and try to create something musical. Listening to it again, I realize I am singing Fa So Do Do instead of Fa La Do Do at the start of the cannon. I liked this assingment but I felt like I had done it incorrectly. I felt like the second entrance was a bit out of tune, and that I always tend to go sharp.
